Low-level background music in reception and breakout areas makes a space feel welcoming, gentle sound in open-plan areas helps with privacy, and a paging system lets you reach everyone with announcements, alarms and fire-drill messages. A zoned system keeps meeting rooms and quiet areas separate.
Control: a matrix amplifier or mixer lets staff choose the source and volume for each zone, from wall panels or a touchscreen.
Licensing: playing recorded music in public in the UK needs TheMusicLicence from PPL PRS. Personal services like Spotify aren't licensed for business use, so you'll also need a business music service.
